Trinity United Methodist Church celebrates nearly a century of service to the Riverbend community of Des Moines. Located
at the corner of College and Eighth Streets, the Trinity faith
community gathers to worship and moves out to serve. A dedicated
witness to peace and justice includes offering English as a second
language classes and citizenship classes. The prison van ministry
makes it possible for families to visit with loved ones who are in jail.
A
shared ministry with the Las Americas Comunidad de Fe offers a regular,
weekly, bi-lingual worship celebration in English and Spanish to
persons who live in the vicinity of the church, and far beyond!

The varied programs of Children and Family Urban Ministries take
place in the Trinity building. CFUM's program reaches out to alleviate
hunger, provide a safe haven after school, and boost the self-esteem of
children and youth.
As we grow the website, more and more of the story of the reconciling ministries, in the name of Jesus Christ, will be told...and you'll discover exciting ways for you to get involved in transforming the world right here...and right now!
